A Palette of Possibilities: Proxi’s ‘Artist in Residence’ Apprenticeship Program is now recruiting
Creativity and community is paramount at Proxi. As we gear up for our Proxi’s release, we’re looking to expand our part-time apprenticeship program to incentivize and reward our creators for their efforts and learnings.
Gallium Studios is an independent game developer creating Proxi, a life simulation game about making magical connections with your memories and bringing them to life. Founded by Will Wright (SimCity, The Sims, Spore) and Lauren Elliott (Carmen Sandiego), Gallium’s eclectic team is focused on the fun of player-centric self-discovery and quirky humor that embodies the human experience.
Whether you’re a 3D art-aficionado, an aspiring entrant into the gaming industry, or a passionate 3D hobbyist, we warmly invite you to become a part of our Artist in Residence program.
We are looking for artists from a variety of backgrounds.
Artists will receive:
- A monetary stipend (500 USD/Month)
- Educational resources
- Workshops
- Invitations to exclusive events
- 1 on 1 time and feedback from industry professionals
- Specialized recognition for their contributions
- And more.
Artists will see their skills grow as they contribute 3D assets for Proxi, beta test/provide feedback, and engage with the Proxi community on Discord.
